Jack Hauser begann mit von Kurt Kren und Peter Kubelka beeinflussten Experimentalfilmen. Ab 1983 Improvisationsmusiker, von 1990 bis 1994 Performer im Panta Rhei Theater. Seit 1989 schreibt er gemeinsam mit David Ender experimentelle Kriminalromane in der Tradition von Walter Serner. 1992 beginnt Hauser unter dem Namen EX.FILMWARE Filmperformances in Wohnzimmern und Salons mit speziell gebauten Film- und Projektorinstallationen zu inszenieren. 1994 war er Mitbegründer des Performance-Kollektivs Lux Flux. Von 1994 bis 1996 war er Mitglied des Improvisationsensembles ThoThmann Anlagen. Unter dem Titel „Der Name. Die Hülle. Das Abenteuer“ gestaltet Jack Hauser bildnerische Arbeiten, die der Fantastik mit einer dokumentarischen Arbeitsweise als Synthese verpflichtet sind. Er arbeitet unter anderem mit dem Künstler Markus Schinwald, der Tanzperformerin Sabina Holzer, dem Komponisten Karlheinz Essl und dem Künstlerduo Machfeld zusammen.

Sabina Holzer studied contemporary dance at the Amsterdam University of Performing Arts / School for New Dance Development. As a performer she worked in various projects, among others, with Robert Steijn, Fabian Chyle, Bilderwerfer, Toxic Dreams, Vera Mantero, Philipp Gehmacher, Lux Flux, Machfeld and Milli Bitterli. She collaborates in and organizes interdisciplinary gatherings at the intersection of theory and practice; with a.o. Jeroen Peeters, Silke Bake, Hooman Sharifi, Martin Siewert, Sandra Noeth, Jack Hauser, Satu Herrala, Jorge Sanchez-Chiong, Brigitte Wilfing; Kerstin Kussmaul, Mariella Greil, Nikolaus Gansterer. Sabina teaches exploration and composition in various institutions and groups such as University of Amsterdam / School for New Dance Development; DanceAbility in schools in cooperation with Bilderwerfer; the University for Music and Dance, Israel; Studio Machfeld; SEAD; ImPulsTanz; Condance/Wien; KinderUniKunst; Vienna Conservatory; Tanzquartier Wien. Since 2007 she writes, performes and publishes texts in relation to contemporary dance and performance and is an editorial board member of corpus, an internet magazine for dance, choreography and performance. From 2011 on she has been an associative artist with Im_flieger / Independent Artists\' Association - Platform and experimental ground for dance, performance and related art forms. In 2005 she has started cooperating closely with the fine artist Jack Hauser. Together they create performances, interventions in public space and galleries as well as in theatres and museums, such as the Tanzquartier Wien; Lentos Museum of Modern Art, Linz; WUK; Essl Museum; Hidden Museum; Documenta 13 and Die Angewandte / University of visual Arts Vienna. She prefers to work in trans-medial settings, were different personalities and methods come together, confront each other, think, move, are singular, are plural and engage in a process of becoming.
